Over fourteen years of contract and residential interior design experience that includes project supervision, space planning, finish selection, graphic presentation of all projects, marketing and sales of finish selections and furnishings, including accessories, area rugs, wall coverings and faux finishes. Debra is an allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers - A.S.I.D.

Debra started career as a graphic designer after graduating from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh working for Michael Baker Corporation, Westinghouse Electric Corporation, as well as several smaller firms and engineering companies. After completing her Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design from FIDER accredited La Roche College in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Debra started her own business.
As sole proprietor of Debra’s Designs for fourteen years, accomplishments include the refurbishing of a twenty-five year old senior citizens apartment complex, several lobbies and common areas of new office complexes, and input for a retail jewelry store and doctor office, among many residential projects. Residential work includes layout and design of home additions to an arts and crafts period home, and the updating and enhancement of many older and new residences. |
