Debra Volanski, sole proprietor of Debra’s Designs, has unique design capabilities that are derived from a background in both interior design and graphic art.
As a designer with both a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design and a Visual Communications (graphic design) Degree, Debra provides an exceptionally artistic venue for offering creative solutions that are practical as well as aesthetically striking. |
Debra started her career as a graphic designer, meticulously designing and executing presentations, brochures, annual reports, and the like for Fortune 500 companies. Her employment lead her to work closely with architects and interior designers at several large engineering and architectural firms, sparking an interest in this creative venue.

After completing a comprehensive Bachelor Degree in interior design, and working closely with architects over a period of several years, she started her own interior design business in 1994. Debra’s experience includes residential, commercial, institutional, and retail projects.
Residential experience includes consultation, design, and execution of new construction and renovations, in addition to purchasing and placement of finish materials, furnishings, artwork, and accessories. Office space planning, retirement home refurbishing, and the design and purchasing of finish selections for these as well as other commercial and retail applications demonstrates the variety of expertise that Debra can bring to your project.
Debra is an allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers - A.S.I.D.
